The first of the Artist-in-Residence exit shows opens tomorrow at St. Pete Clay: Jeremy Wallace is up with his show "Common Ground". The show has come together fabulously; beautiful work, beautifully presented- you can see his work at his website here. The opening is from 6-9pm at the Morean Arts Center for Clay in the Trainstation, 420 22nd St. South in St. Pete.
Further out we are having Jess Carter and Holly Siggelow's exit shows in May, Brice Dyer's and my exit shows in June, and Lydia Johnson's exit show in July. The openings for all the shows are from 6-9pm on the 2nd Saturday of the month in conjunction with the Warehouse Arts District 2nd Saturday Art Walk. We are working on getting an online gallery up and running so that the public can view and purchase work from the shows during the month it is up in the gallery- stay posted, and I'll put information on that up once it becomes available.
Another opening coming up on April 19th is "In Full Bloom" up at Baltimore Clayworks in Baltimore, MD. This show was juried by Leigh Taylor Mickelson, and I and my fellow SPC Resident Brice Dyer were both selected to participate. The opening is Saturday the 19th, from 6-8, and the exhibition runs through May 31st. For more information, visit Baltimore Clayworks' website here.
